 THESE ARE GREAT!
I was able to easily sand these down, paint them with Rustoleum's Antique Black kit that gave them that rustic look when I sanded down parts of the painted stool to reveal the natural wood beneath. I then recovered the seats to match my home's decor. It's an inexpensive way to get an expensive look. I continuously get compliments on them! I have 8 and put them with a high-end gathering table that had matching counter stools - I saved about $900. Needlesstosay, I'm pretty happy!
 One good, one damaged
I rate this a 5 on style, but I can't give it a perfect mark, because one of the 2 arrived damaged (with the seat not attached to the base at all). It looks as if no one ever attempted to attach the seat on it--that's the funny thing.
Nonetheless, it's a very attractive bar stool...just as good as it looks on the site here. I received it as a gift, otherwise I would have preferred to pick up a big item like this myself from the store, because you always run the risk of things getting damaged when they are shipped.
