 Sonicare is the expert in a increasingly important field
The biggest complaint I hear from people about electric tootbrushes is that the replacement heads are too expensive. Come now, that was the type of thinking that would have killed the Industrial Revolution!For anyone who really cares about dental hygeine or even just the way they look to other people, you can't not use an electric toothbrush anymore. I laughed at the idea at first, but once I began using one I will never be able to use a regular toothbrush again without feeling like my mouth isn't clean. When you go to the dentist--what type of toothbrush does he/she use on you? Electric--for a reason, because it cleans better. The marginally higher cost of replacing the heads rather than buying an entirely new disposable toothbrush is insignificant when you actually feel as clean as you can when you use an electric brush. Personal dental care has evolved to the next step, and you don't want to be caught be the last person using a slide ruler because you were too frugal to purchase the more expensive but more effective calculator. Your teeth (and anyone who comes in contact with them) will thank you.
more efficient than other electric toothbrush
As a dentist, I have tried this toothbrush as well as other electric toothbrush, such as Oral-B. Unlike other rotary toothbrush, this one is unique because of its high frequency of brushing strokes(31,000/min). It is more efficient than other similiar products. However, I believe that a regular toothbrush can clean as well as any electric toothbrush. It's like driving a car with automative transmission vs manual. Both can take you to the same destination. Electric toothbrush does make one's life easier if one spends the time to use it correctly. And an electric toothbrush's coolness provides some motivation. Sonicare is a fine product, but it does come with a high price tag. If you are willing to spend the money, this is probably the best electric toothbrush out there. Take the time to brush your teeth, even if you are using a electric toothbrush.

The Sonicare Elite 7500 is truly a good product. My dentist recommended it and I don't have any regrets paying so much for this toothbrush. I've used another brand of electric toothbrush for several years and I can tell the difference now that I'm using the Sonicare. My teeth feels and looks cleaner and my gums are healthier. I especially like the "2-minute" feature.
