Works, but not well enough Ok, ladies, here’s the deal: We love the way this thing looks, it’s plain adorable. Now, will it work? That would be so great because you can carry this little baby around anywhere, right? Ok, it does work...but not well enough. I bought this machine so I wouldn’t have to constantly bring my jeans to the cleaners to get hemmed. The material needs to be fairly thin for this to work without getting the thread caught. And it is hard to fold the fabric and fit it under the small space between the needle and the foot that holds the fabric down. So I wouldn’t recommend this for all your jeans, but in it’s defense it does work for thinner fabrics. Just like a regular machine. It is very light and very portable. So, if you want it for very light, easy projects go for it. Otherwise, no.
